MANAGEMENT
Approach

In order to ensure the successful completion of any project, our experience indicates that consideration needs to be given to the following;
  • Focus on cooperation and not on confrontation.
  • Personnel must be experienced, committed and suitably trained.
  • Allocation of key team members during pre-qualification period, given early understanding and ownership.
  • Early appointment to assure adequate level of coordination and cooperation between all parties in the pre-commencement phase.
  • Workshops to define the key aspects and objectives for the project.
  • Site based project management teams.
  • Combine team approach to achieving objectives.
  • Structure system for all communications ensuring information transfer is clear and understood.
  • Development of detailed Method Statements for all aspects of the works incorporating associated Health and Safety Risk Assessments.
  • Development of a fully coordinated program. Integrating and sequencing all activities from order to hand over.
  • Setting up manageable control systems for information, progress monitoring and cost, which identify the key issues early, allowing effective decisions making.
Building on the above objectives, our company has developed an effective management system with experienced pro-active personnel giving our clients a comprehensive service.

QUALITY
ASSURANCE SYSTEM

QFTC Co. has developed a system of Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) since 2005 to re-certified in accordance with general contracting, decorative works, on-shore and maintenance and construction services, MEP works.

QFTC QA/QC Documents include a Quality Manual demonstrating the Company quality policy and objectives, the main tasks of operation methods and responsibility of the key personnel. Quality & Development Department (Q&DD) in coordination with the Contracts Department establishes quality plans for projects in compliance with the Company Quality System, the Project Requirements and the Project Program.

The Q&DD has originated a Company Standard Quality Plan, which includes the following elements:

  • General information, definitions and scope
  • Company Quality System
  • Process sequence
  • Responsibilities for the plan execution
  • Scope and technique of inspection
  • Plans of inspection and testing
  • Process parameters and criteria of acceptance

PROJECT
MANAGEMENT

The success of major contracts is largely dependent on the caliber of the management and staff appointed to the project.

It’s a policy of QFTC MEP Branch to appoint a full-time team headed by a Project Manager, carefully selected from senior personnel to be responsible for such projects. Obviously, project teams and levels of experience are tailored to each individual project.

QFTC MEP Branch has adopted the principle that a Project Manager “RULES” i.e. he will be qualified and experienced capable of making decisions in the best interests of the project / client on site. We believe that a Project Manager, when appointed to be experienced] in all areas of management within the construction industry, and therefore, capable of autonomous decisions, with the head office providing a strategic technical support.

In modern construction, the mechanical and electrical engineering services, including air conditioning and public health, can constitute a major part of the cost and significantly influence planning and overall construction program.

QFTC MEP Branch believes in multi-service coordination for this type of work. By accepting the task of harmonizing each engineering service with another and the whole with the structure, a very significant contribution to the success of the whole project can be made.
